It's expensive to get ready for a trip this big! Luggage, supplies, clothes..... and we haven't even left yet. I know that it will all be worth it, though!
The family is all packed. I have been relying on the advice of many others and have packed light, but the temperature range goes from the 60s to the upper 80s. So....two wool sweaters and jeans, as well as 3 lightweight sleeveless dresses and bunches of stuff in between. Rolling everything really does give a lot of extra room, and I'm looking forward to filling it with stuff from overseas.
We leave for NYC in the late morning. Who's sleeping tonight? not the Quinlans!
