The cows next door were also lively and I interpret their mooing as a happy birthday song.
We got on the road early to do the infamous Ring of Kerry. Weather was all over the place.
A little bit later, we got hung up in some "traffic". Check out that blind curve and skinny little road. My husband has done so well, and the children have mostly stopped screaming.
This is a good section of road. - it has lines!
This guy came down to talk to everyone. He's behind that lower tree.
A quick stop for lunch at a garden in Kells.
Back on the road to see more sights. Then this happened.....
Sean had that tire changed out in 15 minutes! This is what happens when you pull off the side of the road to let another car pass. This is considered a local road, and most of the roads to the cool stuff look like this.
So here's some cool stuff.
This is Sean peeking out of the arrow slit. He was up there before we even got to the "door."
There were a couple of stairwells still in tact.
Moving on...
Ballinskellig. So pretty.
Dinner view tonight.
Back to Druids view for dessert and a little shopping.
Finished the day with a cow crossing and some play time with the dog. We have had so much fun!
Tomorrow we do the ring of beara and a night time kayak trip where we'll hopefully get to see some bio- illuminense.
Maybe Sean will become a mechanic! Of course, you all had a little practice not too long ago. Glad this one wasn't quite as adventuresome. Beautiful countryside. Mom Q
