Town was okay, but a bit touristy. Did find some Irish sweaters on sale, and a great lunch place that we couldn't pass up.
Ross castle is a refurbished castle from the 15th century, and it's quite cool. No pictures allowed inside. It was a very thorough tour and the castle has been preserved to look like it would have originally.
This was very cool! Next we went for the Torc waterfall. We pulled in for parking and ended up taking a horse carriage ride around the whole area.
It was pouring rain for a good portion of this tour.
Scott recognized an actor there from one of the shows he watches(ruxsin? from The League). They chatted and took pictures. You can check his Facebook page to see it.
Tour continued to the Muckross House/gardens and Abbey. The house was closed but the gardens were cool. The Abbey was A VERY cool ruin from 1450.
This tree was planted when the Abbey was built.
