Day3-Friday

Today we slept in a bit since yesterday was so busy.  We went to the naval ship museum in Portsmouth to see Henry VIIIs ship, the Mary Rose.  It's amazing what has survived for four hundred years in the ocean.

Next we saw the Victory, a 19th century warship of the British navy.  What a beautiful ship!  I felt like I was on a Pirates of the Caribbean ship!  I'm glad I didn't have to work on it for years at a time, though. Those are some close quarters.

Haley tried one of the long bows-she rocked it!

Sean's turn.

Had a lovely dinner in an old pub on the water and watched giant ferry boats come in and out of port.

Finished with Harry Potter since Al has never seen or read any of them!  Seriously?!
